Francis Mount - Crawfordsville

The restaurant has a fantastic western coast vibe! The food and drinks, along with the merchandise, create a unique atmosphere in this renovated old building, which makes it a really cool bar or pub. The cleverly named drinks are impressive, and the truffle fries are to die for! We’ll definitely be back! Plus, for fans of historic architecture, the original tin ceiling tiles are beautifully preserved—absolutely stunning!

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at francis and mount. we were easily able to make reservations and were sitting immediately when we arrived. we met the owner he expected in this night a few tables and liked to hear about his inspiration for the restaurant. the cheese shortened appetizer was great and so were our cocktails. the highlight of the night was the main course. I had the Surf-N' turf 6oz. filet and 5 jumbo garnel, kartoffeln and carrots. it was fantastic! Honestly the best I ever had. the steak was perfectly boiled, medium rare, full of taste, not over salted it was great! I can't recommend this place enough. I'll be back.

We are so grateful that we have a great local restaurant in crawfordsville! we had no anthing there that was not delicious, but the salmon and steaks seem to be our favorites.
