The food at this restaurant was fantastic! Our meals were served piping hot and could not have been better. The staff were all very polite and friendly, and the atmosphere was excellent. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at this restaurant, with delicious roast beef and Yorkshire pudding. There were four of us dining, including Richard and Amy. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and we received a very warm welcome. We also enjoyed two pints of Timothy Taylor's Knowledge Spring beer. It truly doesn't get any better than this. A visit to this restaurant is a must, with outstanding food quality and a sincere warm welcome from the best landlord and landlady in the business, Richard and Amy. They will ensure that you have a perfect Sunday lunch experience.

The food was fantastic and the service was top-notch. It's not often you come across a traditional Dales pub with such affordable prices. The atmosphere was also very welcoming.

Great pub, really welcoming staff, evening meal and breakfast lovely. We also took our two dogs and stayed overnight. really accommodating will defiantly book again. Dogs really welcome in the bar area, complete with real log fire after a long walk dogs very happy and warm. Thankyou

Me and my husband stayed here in the B&B part 4 years ago and loved the atmosphere of the pub. Today we decided to go back with family and our dog to have Sunday lunch. This place is a lovely village pub with fantastic meals which are big servings at a good price. The Sunday roast are amazing everything about it was delicious topped off with a massive fruit crumble and custard. This lovely little pub is dog friendly with a area where dogs are not allowed if you are allergic or not found of them. I would suggest however that you book a table in advance especially if you want to take your pooch with you as it becomes fully booked quickly. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Definitely highly recommend staying or visiting just for the food and atmosphere.
