My sister and I called on the way to harrogate. we had baked toast and coffee that was beautiful and hot. there is a tastefully decorated memorial, which reminds me some good, rowntrees chocolate, some bad, izal toilet paper. a real memory track. then there were the sweets on the way from all in glasses like a real old fashion sweet shop, brought memories back to my childhood. we will certainly reload, wonderful.
Had a dried up scone with a scraping of butter and jam, a very tiny latte . In my opinion not a home made scone but z supermarket cheapy. Very over priced almost won't go back
Visited today, food overpriced for cooked breakfast quality of food not great sausage awful, and very small portions, slice of toast and beans , cheese (miniscule and ham) tiny bit of salad , puddings which where nice, and tea a lunch this is extortionate, and no kids menu. Quirky place , no staff personality whatsoever, if you want custom maybe be more welcoming.
We were given a very warm welcome when we popped in for a warming drink . Even though we were muddy, needing tables and only wanted hot drinks, we were all impressed by the service here. Really lovely cappuccinos just the right depth...of flavour and foam) . Lovely displays of old linens and curios hanging on the walls as well as a great selection of sweeties to take home.
