A delightful discovery! The Old Engine Inn is the only restaurant open, and it truly is something special. The ambiance is both elegant and tastefully renovated. The drive to reach this place is also stunning—what a wonderful setting! The food is excellent, unpretentious yet creatively crafted, highlighting top-quality local ingredients. While it may not be the cheapest option, the quality is evident and well worth it. The staff is large and attentive, well-equipped to assist with any needs or requests you may have.

What a vibe! A fantastic blend of traditional and modern elements. The food is delicious, and the selection of beers is impressive. The atmosphere is wonderful, and I can't get enough of the amazing rhubarb fizz cocktail! It’s perfect for a quick drink or a full meal. I’ll definitely be back soon!

This charming pub restaurant is situated in a remote and stunning location. The dining experience is superb, complemented by friendly and attentive staff. They offer excellent local beers, apple wine, and perry, along with fresh local ingredients. However, be prepared for prices that are more in line with a high-end restaurant rather than a pub.

The prices were somewhat steeper than expected, but this is part of our mistake not to read the menu in detail before making the drive. but it was for the beautiful land roads on the way up, the roaring wood fires, and the well cast pints. a real gem and some of the best food I had in one!
