Catfish Corral - Crandall

I hadn't been to Catfish Corral in years since they moved out of Seagoville, and it used to be my absolute favorite place for fish. Everything from the fish to the hush puppies never let me down. Unfortunately, my recent visit wasn't the same. It felt like they might be taking shortcuts with the recipes or trying to cut costs on ingredients because something just seemed off. On the bright side, the service was still very friendly, which is why I gave it 2 stars.

Good good and great service! The chili and jalapeño cornbread was a big hit!

The food is pretty good but the hushpuppies were phenomenal. I've never tasted one so sweet.

Food was good, the hushpuppies were in point... this coming from someone who doesn't eat hushpuppies.
