Fisher peak lounge - Cranbrook

This use to be a great place for food. Its always been a great place to enjoy a drink and foo. Its now called the Smokehouse and the majority of dishes are smoked in some way or other. So if you like smoked meats this is the place to go. Disappointing otherwise

We stayed at the St. Eugene resort, which is about 15 min. outside of downtown Cranbrook. Out of convenience, and because we also liked the look of the place, we dined at the Fisher Peak Lounge which is located in the main building at the resort. The interior and ambiance of the lounge is wonderful. We selected a table by the window that had such comfortable chairs that it was difficult to get up and leave. My wife enjoyed a steak sandwich and wine while I had the smoked meat sandwich and a Guiness. It was so good that we intend to return there for dinner on our second night. The service was prompt and courteous and Spruce (our server) was helpful and attentive. The food was wonderful, the atmosphere relaxing and pleasant, and we could simply walk back to our room once done. I would highly recommend a meal here.

A cozy inviting atmosphere. We really enjoyed our time sitting in the comfy armrest chair and enjoying the window view. We ordered the smoked black cod linguini and the homemade daily soup. The linguini was delicious and creamy with onions, black garlic

We had been recommended by friends to try. Worth the drive from Cranbrook or Kimberley. The wings and Nachos are amazing. We had a Caesar salad as well but it was kind of flavorless. A great selection of beer (Fernie on tap.) The burgers walking by looked very good. Our server (Sara) was very busy by 6pm but she was pleasant and attentive. We will be back as a couple but looked like s great place to go with friends as well.

The atmosphere, and views from the window side tables are most pleasant as is the staff. They have the best salt
