Ordered two meals from McDonald 's app for delivery, thought it would be safe enough no way to get the order wrong as there was no human interaction just an order printed clearly in black and white. Delivery time 15mins not bad. Order was delivered, two chips a wrap a burger with the correct toppings ONE drink. Phoned the store MD: Hello McDonald 's Rushmere. Me: Hi I got a delivery and a drink is missing. MD: There 's nothing we can do about that it 's an Uber eats issue. Me: So I ordered a McDonald 's through the McDonald 's app (not Uber eats) but it 's not your issue? MD: Our orders go through Uber eats we don 't have any of our own drivers you 'll need to either call to the store for the milkshake or contact Uber eats. Me: So I ordered and paid for a delivery and now have to drive to the store to complete my order. MD: Yes. I then hung up. So I know it 's only one milkshake but try telling your ten year old daughter that she can 't have her milkshake but her brother can have his drink. Thanks McDonald 's for making my daughters I 'm loving it meal feel like the treat that she expected.
Never again! paid more than £24 with delivery through uber eats and driver arrives with only the drinks. I refused to accept the incomplete order. Contacted restaurant and spoke to a manager who never apologized and hang up when I asked to get a new order as I wouldn't want to pay again and then still have to wait for a refund while I'm out of pocket.
Customer service is dead in there, rude employees with no knowledge whatsoever. Food is terrible…. The chips not fully cooked and cold … employees touching the food with no gloves in front of the customers as if was normal to do so … definitely not food and safety trained …. I have seen it with my own eyes … the manager doing it and delivering the same food the customer. Always getting the orders wrong … to many young folks with no skills becoming a manager … it is a disgrace……
Slow. Unhelpful staff. No apologies. I was waiting 20 minutes in the drive-thru queue to then be told to drive into the car park and wait on them bringing my order out to me. I then had to sit and watch cars drive through the drive-thru collecting their orders as normal. Order finally arrived and it was cold. I can’t give any less than 1 star.
So ordered through the McDonald's app for delivery big tasty meal and a happy meal. 40mins later delivery arrives fair enough Friday night bound to be busy shame the happymeal for my 5 year old was missing. Rang McDonald's Rushmere hung up on several times, rang ubereats told it was McDonald's mistake and to take it up with them...now 19.57 and I'm being bounced between ubereats and McDonald's trying to blame eachother...let's face it how hard is it to check and order on a receipt before handing it to the driver. If I could give 0 stars I would it's an absolute joke you hire ubereats to deliver them it is your responsibility McDonald's to make sure that order is correct.
