Torshi - Cozumel

The food here is really good I had never had Egyptian food before and when I first looked at the menu I was thinking it would just be Greek food with a different name.I was wrong it was similar in a lot of was but had its own distinct flavors.a good place to stop when you have had all the muffaletto and red beans you can handle and want something different

Everything on the menu sounded wonderful. Saw several items on this menu that other Mediterranean restaurants have stopped serving over time. We chose a fantastic hummus and pita served with a pepper sauce! Kofta gyro was flavorful although could have used another kofta to balance the ratio; but I'm a kofta fan. Lamb and beef gyro was fanominal and stuffed with meat. Very fresh flavors! Service from Thera was great and the chef in the back as well. Very nice people. Will return when we come back … – show

Absolutely the best Mediterranean food I have ever had. Everything we had was perfect. The falafel, tzatziki and babaganoush were made to perfection. The babaganoush had a deep smokey flavor that was out of this world. The Lebanese tea was so good that when I tasted it I was instantly transported to an ancient world that has long passed (not exaggerating). If you are a fan of Mediterranean food and are in New Orleans or anywhere near New Orleans Torshi is a must.

Best meal, great customer care, food delicious, 5 star most definitely.

The food was good but not great. Service was great! I would go back.
