Ruby Slipper Cafe - Cozumel

Delicious food fast service. Definitely get the fried green tomatoes. Sweet heat fried chicken and french toast bites were a fun play on chicken and waffles…crispy, sweet, and a 'lil spicy.

The Ruby Slipper Cafe was recommended to us. The lines for the two locations closest to us had long waitlists. So we decided to go further from our hotel to this location. Smart move. We went from an 85 mins wait at the other locations to no wait at this one. The food and service were phenomenal. We were served by a new server. She was sweet. She appeared to be in training. Recommended by its own competitor when their kitchen was closed. That's high praise in my book, and it turns out they deserve it. Delicious breakfast options. Ridiculous portion sizes. I was defeated by my biscuits and gravy. Super friendly service.
