Alberto's Cheese And Wine Bistro

Awesome muffaletta!! Central Grocery was closed so I tried Alberto's and it did not disappoint! So good!

Don't come here for the friendly service, just the delicious food. It's a little off-putting to not be acknowledged when standing in front of a shop owner, ready to order, as she says good morning to a random person passing by. Weird. But the food is as advertised, tasty and fresh.

You have to get the muffelata!!!! PLEASE! It was so freaking good! I have never loved and craved a sandwich more. I’m so sad this doesn’t exist near me in FL, because this is something I will want a whole lot more! Please get!! It was so yummy!!!

The muffulletta was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely spend the extra few dollars and get a 1/2 rather than the 1/4. Make no mistake, the service by both people that were working was less than friendly but the sandwich is so delicious I would hate for someone to miss out because of that. I just turned on the “saccharine sweet” to over compensate for their rude.

In my quest for THE muffuletta Alberto’s has a lot of pros: the bread to filling ratio is balanced, the bread is chewy, the meat and cheese are fresh and flavorful; the cons: the muffuletta is heated (this is a personal preference so it might be a pro to you); the olive salad is crunchy but in my opinion needs more olives to give it that just-right briny saltiness.
