It was honestly very uncomfortable. We only stayed for 20 minutes and left. The view is nice, but every single place on the island has a great view!
Tourist trap. The pool is broken, there are no taxis back, it is mega overpriced compared to other beaches on the island, and on top of that they use a change rate that is 15% more expensive than the rest of the island. The place is also not comfortable for swimming, other beaches are much more suitable for that. Just don’t go there it is the worst place in Mexico. They close at 4pm what is also incomprehensible.
A little touristy, but hey we are on a resort island and at the beach. Prices are OK but maybe on the high side but this is a tourist location. Service is good. Food is nice. Shrimp tacos were fresh and delicious. Coconut shrimp quite tasty. All fresh.
Do NOT go here… unless you want an awful experience. This place does Mexico a disservice, the waiters are rude, pushy and continuously demand you order more from their overpriced and uninspired menu, from the moment you walk in. I walked to the bar to pay so we could pay and be done with them harassing us, and it was filthy. I’m glad we didn’t eat here as every other place we visited on the island had friendly staff and clean facilities.
My boyfriend and I stopped here for a quick lunch before heading to the airport. Got a couple drinks some nachos and aguachile. The aguachile there was the highlight of all the raw seafood I ate on the island while I was there. Do yourself a huge a favor order that if you find yourself at this full service beach bar. We were helped by an awesome server, Ronnie! Ronnie used to work in the restaurant industry in SF, where my boyfriend and I are from. It was cool to get to know him and his story. I hope next time we come back he is still there. There is also a tequila tasting experience (if you wish) as you walk on to the property. I regretfully cannot remember the guy's name who worked there, but he was educated on his tequilas/liquors and offered us a couple tastes. I ended up walking away with a delicious bottle of coconut liquor; would've been more if we had more room in the luggage. Highly recommend heading over to his kiosk and checking out his selection. Would love to come back to this place in the summer; they have a great beach area, massages on the beach, hammocks, surfing lessons, etc.
