If you can only eat at one place on the island- this is it. Best ceviche and octopus (grilled or fried- both are very good) on the island. Menu is in Spanish but staff is very helpful. Guacamole is really good and servings are generous. Super fresh seafood- prepared as you order. Open air seating.

We can't believe El Pezcozon (you folks at TA are not spelling it correctly please correct see the logo and menu photos we attached) has been here since 2014 and we are just now finding it! Located in mid town, it has some of the best seafood! We are not a big fan of pulpa (octopus) but their fried octopus is WONDERFUL! Great food, good prices, great staff and we liked it so much, we came back the next day for lunch after eating there the day before! We definitely are fans.

If you 're looking for fresh quality seafood at very reasonable prices look no further, THIS IS THE BEST. You haven 't had real ceviche until you have had theirs. This family owned and operated restaurant is spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. Generations of special seafood recipes are served daily and all we can say every time we finish a meal is how very fortunate to have found this one of a kind seafood paradise. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. We have spent much time on the island and along with the great staff and welcome atmosphere there simply is no other restaurant in town that delivers the same level of quality time and time again. And be sure to check out the artwork, it is original and gives you an opportunity to glimpse into the lives, past and present of the owners Don Mario Ancona and Doña Juanita Mezo. From the mural of the old seafront with a vintage car of Don Mario 's on the pier, to the new one of a kind tables being painted by their multi talented son Eyden it is truly a one of a kind dining experience. Daughter in law, Carla is carrying on the tradition of creating one of a kind dishes and I can not end this review without saying she makes the best tamarind sauce we have ever tasted which we have become addicted to along with the shrimp tacos for lunch!!! A must go restaurant when in Cozumel. Fresh seafood and very clean restaurant. Ordered the fried squid and ceviche it was the best ever! Would highly recommend !
