Frida's Restaurant Bar - COZUMEL

My wife and I frequently come to Cozumel, we always have our favorite places to eat and have always just walked passed Fridas, on this trip we decided to try new places and stopped in to eat here. We were pleasantly surprised, the food was fresh with good portions, the drinks were good and strong and the service was exceptional… we could not help but to notice a young man with a limp working very hard for all his tables, he was so intent and hardworking I could not help but to compliment him for his dedication.. come to find out this young man Danny Boy was the manager.. His hard work, dedication and cheerful attitude was exemplary! We will be back!

Stopped in for a lunch since the weather was amazing. Loved the location and outdoor seating. Expect to pay American prices...our restaurants in San Antonio are cheaper for the amount of food we got. The tacos were decent, the Pescado de Veracruz was nothing to write home about and the beef fajitas were good enough that my son ate them all. Our waiter, Danny Boy, was awesome and we had a good time visiting with him.

We had been here 2005 and wanted to do a repeat photo in the same place. So glad they were still here. Nicer tables and chairs, but the service, kindness and friendliness of the staff were as wonderful now as they were then. It was early so we only had a beer and some guacamole and chips but the beers were icy and the guac fresh and very tasty! Also appropriately priced. Recommend as lovely spot for a bite, a drink and to people watch!

Margaritas are large and delicious. Victor was our server and cared for us throughout our dining experience. Fresh, delicious. It’s right on the Centro square.

My lucky number was tattooed behind our waiters ear. It was always going to be good and so it was. The best margarita I have ever had!! Simple. A nice array of authentic Mexican cuisine. Tacos, fajita, quesadillas. Wonderful service and a great location to watch the world go by. Great work.
