Casey's General Store - Cozad

The quality of this place has dropped drastically. There's never any food ready or available there. I've gone mornings,afternoon, and nights and the food case is always empty. Men's bathrooms are gross and never have paper towels in them. Hopefully they'll get a new manager soon and rework this place.

Busy as any Casey's. Friendly, clean, pleasant. Great food. Nice oasis. No place to sit and eat but, no one minds if you snack on the sidewalk outside. Convenient.

We ordered a pizza when we got back to town because it was 9:45 at night and needed something quick for supper, Dakota Rima the pizza cook, told us that we need to not order so late because he didn’t want to make the pizza. When he in fact, literally gets paid TO DO SO. He smashed the side of the lid into the pizza as well, so when it was opened a bunch of pizza fell all over the place, the carpet in my truck was clean until that. We then went back and grabbed a drink and all he could do was GLARE angrily at us. If you don’t wanna be paid to make people’s food, the job you’re simply hired to do, go work somewhere else. Very very unprofessional, get someone who actually does the job they’re paid to do.

We've been to our share of Casey's stores during a very long road trip but this one is by far the worst. Three very incompetent, rude, slow-moving women at the registers, and a very, VERY long wait. Believe it or not, some people at truck stops are trying to get back on the road in a timely manner. They weren't apologetic in the slightest. Just another day, I guess.
