Thai on the Island - Cowes

I took my Aunty and Uncle there for dinner last night. When we walked in all the tables were filthy, they had a young boy on the floor with his matchbox cars spread everywhere, he was noisey, a young girl about 8 years old was cleaning tables, the young boy and girl began fighting, the floor needed a good vacuum, no offer if we would like a drink, food was terrible and when we wanted to leave the lady at reception was rude and talking on her phone. She didnt put her phone down while she served us. She didnt speak to us just pointed to our bill. When asked if she could split the bill she rolled her eyes and continued to ignore us and talk on her phone. Will never go to this restaurant again. Will continue to give my loyal support to the thai restaurant in San Remo instead.

My partner has a fondness of Thai food. We have been to hundreds of Thai restaurants around the world.This place is one of the best.The service was very slick, they are professional restaurant owners, and when the food arrived I tasted it and said a few words of praise which my partner admonished me for.This place was so good, and the kids played under the back table until they came out to change a table. They were delightful.

Excellent food. Best pad thai i have had. Take away was ready in no time at all!! Can't complain at all about the service, was nice and friendly.

I was having lunch with my mum and we were the only customers in the restaraunt. The Thai owners/waiters had their children in the restaraunt, playing on one of the back tables when the little boy decided to take his clothes off and sit there naked, while his mother then took him to the toilet. He walked out naked before his mother dressed him and he began crying again. It was absolutely disgusting behaviour in a restaraunt- going against all health and safety regulations- the food was terrible and we just couldn't stay and eat any longer after seeing everything unfold so publicly. This place is a disgrace.
