Sherwoods - Cowes

The staff were like Mc Donalds teenagers, the food was very average. My fish came out overcooked and unedible. They ignored this and said this is how it is meant to be, even though there was a chef at my table and another person who tatsed it and were both disgusted. Will not be going back....

We arrived after our Penguin Parade experience with no booking. The restaurant was quiet except for a family celebration of 8 people. We were seated and then forgotten for about 10-15mins. Finally given a menu

We arrived at Sherwoods after leaving another restaurant in cowes as they had no gluten free or vegetarian options.The staff were super friendly and helpful.The menu was huge, heaps of gf options and a separate vegetarian menu as well.My brother and partner are not gf or vegetarian and were really happy with their entree Main and dessert and myself with the gf option was super impressed with the food.It's not often everyone on the table is super happy with all three courses - couldn't fault any meal. Everything is reasonably priced with the option to get a main for around $24 or class of wine for $8 or to pick something at a higher price.Thanks Sherwoods I'll definitely be coming back!

A fantastic meal had by all, friendly service and even though it was full, food came out quite quickly. Would recommend this one for sure. Delicious meals!!

Amazing dinner for our family. Even though the place was full and busy the staff were kind and friendly. Very impressed with the food, speed and serving size. Good value for a school holiday treat and according to my 7 y/o it was the best spaghetti bolognese he's ever eaten!
