Fishermans Wharf Fish And Chips - Cowes

A local recommended this place as somewhere to get good fish and chips, how wrong they were. Got a couples pack of fish and chips along with potato cakes. Got charged extra to have grilled fish, why I don't know. Serving size of order was poor for the money and a battered fish tasted of old gross oil. Definitely wouldn't recommend eating from here. Not going to listen to local advice again.

Good fish and chips. The fish was fresh, the chips were crispy, the service was prompt. Large orders are a bit slow coming.

Nothing fancy here but the fish was very fresh and the chips were plentiful and crispy. Service was good. Right on the esplanade so sea views a plenty.

We took away from here tonight. it was fabulous, best fish and chips I had for a long time.

Yummy fish and chips! the hotel is located opposite the beach to dinner with view. not too oily and good salt. very crispy potato cake, great chips and delicious fish. very fast. only on the bottom no lemon for the fish.
