Hardwood Cafe - Covington

We are a family of six (four kids) and had a wonderful time enjoying drinks, meals, and dessert for under $75, including the tip. The fries were delicious, the pasta sauce was homemade, and the carrot cake was a treat. My husband especially enjoyed his burger. We appreciated the free coffee refills and when we asked for extra mayonnaise, we were pleasantly surprised that they didn’t charge us for everything, which is something I really dislike. This place will definitely be a family favorite when we travel west from Marquette.

The food was tasty, but I'm not sure it was worth the hour-long wait for just three sandwiches and a burger. I might think twice about coming back, especially since it took so long.

I ordered the filet, my wife had the sirloin, and our son chose the Napoleon chicken. Everything was excellent. The server managed both the bar and the dining room, but the service was still very good.

Arrived and oreded, received our food 70 mins later. Good food, just a long time to wait . Probably should not go if you are on a time schedule
