Chili's Grill - Covington

These outlets are run more efficiently than the stores in SC! They are maintained better, significantly cleaner, and the food and service was fantastic! The GM, Amanda, was concerned that I was a dissatisfied patron when she saw me taking a pic of the hours of operation. I was actually getting photos for this review.I ordered a Blue Moon on tap and a Bacon Ranch Double Burger with the optional jalapeno and bacon cheese fries . Both were delivered promptly by my server, Jo, and they were delicious! So delicious that I forgot to take a pic of my meal! Jo was friendly, attentive, and efficient! The burger was delicious, greasy, and perfect! The cheese fries were fantastic! I have to admit that I hadn’t eaten at a Chili’s in over 10 years because of the disgusting and lackluster experience in SC. I was hesitant when the front desk clerk recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised! It’s right next to the Home2Suites and Hampton Inn in Covington.

I called in a to go order Sunday March 10 at 5:38pm. I specified I wanted my cheeseburger well done. The person taking the order repeated well done. When I got home and cut the burger in half I had a big shock. I have never seen a burger cooked rarer. Bright red inside. I had to disassemble it, peel off the cheese and microwave it for 2 1/2 minutes to be able to eat it. I called to tell someone and they kept saying I can’t hear you I can’t hear you. I finally hung up in frustration. I wish you didn’t have to give any stars. Terrible. The picture is of a blob that fell out when I cut it. That red all through it.

Most horrible experience ever at this place. Will never be back again. The food for it to be just appetizers def was not worth $15.29. The egg rolls were white on the outside, the big mouth bites had pink in the meat, and only thing worth eating was the honey Chipotle crispers. Waited 20 more minutes for the big mouth bites to come back out for it to be still with pink meat. Also two drinks were made and 3rd one for the other person was not made and we were told that the bartender had something going on. The waitress didn't bring the drink out until after we were almost finished with all of our food. Also got a manager over name Crisadah who was rude as hell and told us the burger with the pink meat still looked fine to her and even though the drink came late she remarked it looks like you drank it all... then tells us she will comp the food but didn't so we waited longer for her to actually comp the meal. Worse Chili's ever, won't be back. They are definitely racist there as well and we should have took the hint from a customer who left out saying it was slow in there when no one was even in there.

Food was fine. Delivery of food curbside never happened. Went inside after waiting 10 minutes beyond the curbside delivery window and the food was packaged up and ready to go...it just never went until I came inside the store.
