El Pollo Loco - Covina

Wow, this experience was terrible! They served us a family meal that included completely burnt chicken. It was inedible and had an odor reminiscent of dog food. I won't be coming back. It felt like they were closing down and just tossed all their leftovers into my bag. What a disappointment!

The salsa and guacamole didn't taste fresh at all. They also don't have lemon anymore. I won't be returning here.

We frequently come to this location because it’s the closest to us the food is good. Nine times out of ten we are missing items from our bags and it’s honestly really annoying to get shorted an item after getting home just to drive back for it. The customer service was always good up until this year. Not sure if management has changed or if they aren’t training their staff well but they need to be more aware and make sure the customers are receiving all their items. THE FIRST TIME. Next time I’ll go to another location.

I know this is a chain but this is hands down the best el pollo loco. I go to other ones and the chicken just isn't the same.

There weren't many options for those who aren't fans of spicy food. The staff seemed a bit impatient as well.
