Wyken Fish - Coventry

Ever since the owner of this chip shop took over a few years ago, the quality of the chips has been exceptional, some of the best in the city. The staff are friendly, the place is clean, and the menu offers a good variety of food. I come here a few days a week. The mini fish and chips are great value and the portions are more than generous.

Ended up here on a Sunday night as all the usual fish n chip shops near our home were all closed. We are from Australia and wanted to get fish n chips for our family. So happy to find them open. Even happier when we got them home and started to eat. All our fish was cooked amazing. My MIL had the haddock and she loved it and ate the lot. Chips are good and I loved my mushy peas. Will be going back while here in Coventry but will be telling all my friends here how amazing they are.

The meal was awful and the service was terrible. I was not offered a refund and I will never dine at this restaurant again.

The kebab meat was fantastic, and the chips and cod were also delicious. However, it's a disappointment that they now require a minimum spend of £10 when using a card. This may be convenient for families but inconvenient for individuals who may have to use the cash point, which charges £1.95 for withdrawals.

Great food, great service and great prices. Manny and Jaz do a fantastic job delivering the highest quality food and reasonable prices. They really looked after my mum through this pandemic offering a free delivery service. Cannot recommend this chippy enough, never had a bad meal from here.
