A five minute walk from the railway station. Very old building with a warren of rooms, two grassed beer gardens and impressive ales, okay to try before you buy. Wednesday is pie and pint night. Service: 4 Location: 4

Lovely pub with that authentic feel (not a chain). The burger was brilliant and enormous, the portion sizes are large and the quality is really there. Friendly service, colouring books provided for the little children with colours. Great outdoor area although no play area if you're looking for one.
