This place is quite cool and has great eating at a very fair price. has a great mood with people either come for a drink or eat and often a bit frighten in the bar area. the workers are...completely friendly in my opinion and were helpful to make good recommendations when I first started to visit. I have now almost their entire menu so generally know what to order. I believe the person who had left the negative review of the service expected that the staff will bang them or something
My man wanted to treat me during the holiday to an African meal. the atmosphere can be improved. the tables were dirty plus eating served without tablets that they had to put the bones on the table. Pity, my mind. but we had the fish pfeffer soup and nkwobi as appetizer then egusi for the herrn and efo riro for me. both served with beaten yam. the portions were huge and we were already full of the starters. we couldn't finish it, but it was delicious and piping hot, which was good because it was a cold, rainy day. a bit expensive, but really nice authentic African food.
My partner made a phone order to which the phone was answered by an extreme rude girl, he asked a request to which the answer was what they want, with a posture as he had the order he was told 3 times they didn't have what we wanted, then when he thought to order what instead of telling them rudely interrupted to say he must wait as soon as she has people. that is unacceptable to me. working in the customer service industry itself I am very angry at the service we have received, I am a superior and if someone on my personal would talk to customers on this way, I would not think of my employees. eating here is not cheap and get good feedback and reusable I urge to think the management of this restaurant re who they allow to work for them, get some customer service training and someone with a good phone manor instead of an rude girl who clearly do not give a damn about her company call. I will not recommend this to friends or family and will eat from now on from the African restaurant on the other side of the road.
My Son and I are working our way along Far Gosford Street having lunch in the interesting eateries to be found. Palms offers West African dishes that are very, very tasty. The service was excellent and the meal was brilliant value. This is not a...place to eat if you're vegetarian or vegan, though.
