Mod Pizza Coventry

Great experience in this new restaurant. Basically custom make your pizza with as many toppings as you want and hand made fresh before you. Gluten-free options also, although prepared in the same area, so not completely gluten-free. Fresh fruit lemonade on an unlimited refill as well as were delicious. The price was also very reasonable. No complaints. Would recommend and will come back.

After we heard good things from friends, we finally shot ourselves in the MOD for a Sunday dinner. Cool mood and spacious layout. The staff was very helpful in explaining the ordering process. If you are not familiar with the concept, it works as follows: you choose the size of the pizza base or salad, then types of sauce, cheese, vegetables, herbs and spices, meat and other toppings such as finishing or diving sauce for crusts. Great things equal price, no matter how many toppings you choose; topping option goes far beyond standard pizza choices such as blue cheese or roasted peppers; free refills on drinks including a good range of homemade lemonades; fast service; tasteful. There are some selected preset pizza options for those who prefer not to meet the huge topping selection. 5 of us ate for £50 so work on £10 for a pizza and unlimited drinks. Fun experience and tastes great. Go in a group as the creativity element is fun with more people. Will go back.

Think about this place like Subway, but for pizza. Choose a base, and then either build your own custom recipe or choose one of the suggestions on the menu. Also then you can add additional items such as olives, pepper or more / different cheeses. The staff is friendly and helpful, and there are gluten-free and vegan options available. And if pizza is not your stuff, you can build your own custom salad as an alternative. Really impressed by the food here. I can't wait to go back.

A funny other experience. Like a custom subway, but for pizzas. Loading different toppings and the artists are very superior to what you want. And the pizza was very good and filled the price. Cosy atmosphere, but still open, good for a casual meal. More refined than fast food, but still not feeling a real restaurant.

Really good pizzas at a great price. Perfect place for a bit of lunch. Loads of topping options and comes really quickly too. Nice atmosphere. I've also had one of their pizza's via Deliveroo but it is much much better instore when fresher. Great place for people with specific dietary requirements as they cater well for that.
