The lunch menu at this restaurant is beautiful and received high praise. The toastie with a side of chips is huge and delicious. The service is friendly and prompt. (New York Delhi)

This restaurant is a lovely spot with a charming atmosphere and clean restrooms located outside the drinking area. I visit regularly and appreciate the connection to the Greene King hotel. Although I haven't stayed at the hotel, the bar staff are always polite, well-dressed, and knowledgeable. They offer a good selection of beer and overall, I have no complaints about the place. While they may have had some issues with service in the past, they have greatly improved the quality.

It had been years since I last visited this restaurant, but I was thrilled when my sister-in-law invited me to lunch. The food was delicious, fresh, and very flavorful. The drinks were also fantastic - we ordered from Graham, who provided excellent service throughout our meal. He was attentive and had a great sense of humor. I would definitely return to this restaurant, as it was also very clean.

If they expect imaginative, artistically arranged food they want a kebab on the way to home, this is not for them. Good, well cooked food for a decent price? come in! often eat here; once, during the heavy snowfall that had otherwise closed everywhere. the scrub is great. the drinks? I never had a bad beer from here; in contrast to a wetherspoons where I never had a good contagion. give it a visit; summer is great with the beer garden (which despite the proximity of a double-track is amazingly quiet) winter? cozy and comfortable. never stay in the hotel sharing the website (due to ten minutes living on the street), but I am sure it is just as good!

Chris, Shelly and the team have been absolutely amazing!! Earlier in the year i was trying to arrange a christening reception for my son (for after restrictions were lifted) out of emailing and calling 7 different places, Chris was the ONLY one to get back in touch! We had a fantastic day and the food and service was outstanding. Since then we also booked a 40th birthday party and the staff shone just as bright that evening too! Since then we have become regular diners in the restaurant and never had a bad meal! I wouldn't hesitate at all to recommend this place for an event or even a lunch/dinner!
