Filippou's Twisted Pizza - Coventry

So many issues with this place. Their pizza is good but it's clear to see the place is going downhill if they don't start fixing things. The first thing I'd recommend is finding someone new for a manager up front. She's extremely rude and disrespectful and I've seen her swearing at other customers on multiple occasions. I've heard from friends that I'm not the only one to be witness to this, and it's been ongoing for a long time. On top of that I've stopped ordering on Sundays and Mondays, there clearly isn't enough staff to handle everything and the manager in the back looks like an angry chicken without a head who clearly needs more close contact training. I really really want to keep coming here purely because I'm a creature of habit but it's burning a hole in my wallet and makes me uncomfortable being in the restaurant. I hope the best for Twisted, I really really do, but it doesn't seem like they're making the right choices and picking the right people to keep their business successful.

I just moved back to Rhode Island and I'm so excited that they are close by so that I can get take out. The people at this location were so sweet, I put the order into the wrong location on the app., They helped fix it and get a new order out to me. Really fast. Food was fantastic, will definitely be back.

We ordered our meal along with some soda. The delivery driver brought the food but forgot the soda. He apologized and promised to return shortly. After waiting 30 minutes without any sign of him, I decided to call the restaurant. The person who answered said the driver had other deliveries to make, but I explained that we had been waiting for our drink for a long time in order to eat. She assured me he would be back soon. By that point, our food was cold, so I requested to speak with a manager. Janelle came over and offered to refund us for the soda. I also asked for our food to be reheated, explaining that I had ordered both food and soda and only received the food. I pointed out that we couldn't eat without the soda. When I asked Scott to deliver hot food along with the soda, he refused. Both Janelle and Scott were very unprofessional, and I was frustrated with how the situation was handled. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The food was disappointing, especially given the prices. The calzone lacked flavor, and a small veggie pizza cost $17. A five-piece wing dish with a small order of fries was $23. The service was also subpar, with the staff seemingly more interested in their phones than in serving customers. It appeared that there were four employees, but only one was actually working. Overall, I found the entire experience unsatisfactory for the amount I paid, and I even had to go back to ask for the sauces.

Awful experience. Ordered mozzarella sticks, they were burnt to a crisp and had the marinara sauce dumped into the box. The sandwiches we ordered looked like they were made by someone with feet for hands. Do not recommend.
