Cove Tavern

Small crooked tavern and steakhouse away from the beaten. eating is great and they meet the most interesting and friendly people. be ready to help there as the bartender, cook and waiter are all the same person who also the owner. So they come with the expectation that everything is made fresh and tasty, but they must be patient. bring her appetit and some friends to pass the time.

Well worth the trip out to Cove. I had the 16 oz. Ribeye and I got my money back and then some. Portions were large and prepared well. Bring your appetite and be prepared to take some home.

We recently visited a steakhouse at Cove that has a new owner and a new name. The steaks were cooked perfectly and were devoured quickly. The waitstaff was busy but attentive, especially on a busy Friday night at 5:30pm. We also enjoyed the La Grande shrimp dish. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

The food was delicious, but the owner lacks interpersonal skills. I loved the ribeye steak and salad, but had to wait for 2 hours to receive them. When I requested a beer upon seating, I waited for 30 minutes before finally being served. It would greatly improve the experience if the owner hired at least one waitress to assist.

The steaks, burgers, and salads are fantastic! It may take a bit longer to be served due to it being a bit of a one-woman show, but it is definitely worth the wait. The atmosphere is not lively, but it is clean and cozy. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
