I would certainly repeat myself if we were in the opposite again.
After a long trip it was nice to relax in the pleasant surroundings of this restaurant. I found the cats a bit disturbing, but the host and his staff were very good.
Four of us had an excellent meal in le chambellan. Traditional Dordogne menu; excellent jam of duck, foie gras, fish, local weine and good laune. beautiful dining room with large windows view of the old church. the lighting was in my opinion too bright, but my meal was fantastic.
Ate outside at this popular local hotel/ restaurant. Very friendly and patient with our French. Good meal with lovely wine, what more is needed
.. We had the good fortune of dining twice at Le Chambellan, while we stayed in Coux for 3 weeks! Both evenings, one inside and one outside, were wonderful experiences. The owners and wait staff were charming, courteous and very professional. We loved everything we...ordered both evenings and found their presentations very nice. The four tast types of creme brulee were very creative and delicious! The second evening, outside, we took our friends and we had a most beautiful young lady as our server. She was even more charming then the establishment! I recommend theis restaurant to anyone in the Dordogne area! Judi Dunn, Tallahassee, Florida
