The Hub Cafe - Courtenay

What an incredible vegetarian lunch!! This cafe was so delicious and extremely friendly staff that care about your experience. As we were paying cookies just came out of the oven and as a non cookie eater, I wanted 2! Melt in your mouth delicious!! Can t wait to go back!

Small coffee bar located right downtown. Food and the coffee is excellent, all baked and cooked right in house from scratch, so its always fresh. Staff are great, and friendly and is just a great place to go for lunch or coffee. If you are out and about or coming to Courtenay, definitely stop in and include The Hub on your visit. Have their own wireless as well as Shaw Go Wifi being accessible.

Everything is made in store, fresh and delicious! If you want to eat out, have amazing delicious food but still eat healthy this is the place to go. Nathalie the new owner makes everything from scratch. The soups are to die for! Try it, you won't be disappointed! I don't drink coffee but every time I am in this cafe I hear customers raving about the coffee. A great find, way to go Nathalie.

I used to really love this place. Unfortunately there is NO vegan food other than a smoothie with nutmilk or just the nutmilk or their big salad without the cheese (aka protein)....sad for a Vegan who loves to eat...I was there to have a solo work lunch and the internet also didn't work...2nd time in two separate cafes in 2 days!! yikes

Just drove from port Alberni to have lunch at The Hub. It was delicious with a fun atmosphere!!! Definitely an appropriate name for this awesome little place. We will be back for sure!!
