Atlas Cafe - Courtenay

There were two vegans in my party and we thought we could try a few things. the only vegan article on the menu was the southwest vegan bowl. when I asked if something else could be made vegan, I was told that the southwestern bowl was the only safe choice. the southwestern bowl was good, but from what I had heard of this place, I expected more options on the menu.

From a first look I thought that this place was only brunch-only, but it is a nice dinner spot as well! the atmosphere was casual, but refined and cozy. the menu was full of the options, I found it hard to choose. they have a “vegan plate”, but I always ended a Buddha-shell with tofu. They also had stir fry, pasta, and a series of appetitors that could be made vegan. I found this place unfortunately on my last day in the city, as I would like to check her lunch and brunch.

This place came recommended by a friend. It is a quaint little restaurant that is compliant with Covid protocols. I felt very comfortable and safe coming here. Service is top notch. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable of the food that is available. The food is excellent. Very tasty, well presented. It did take a little while to get our food but they were very busy.Customers were waiting to get in, it is that popular. Like many restaurants, they are working hard to get staffing levels upso those that are there are working very very hard and I applaud them for their services. I definitely recommend this place toeveryone. Edit July 16 2022, came back again and not disappointed. Had the pork sandwich. Service great, food very good. Glad Icame back.

Wow! We had the vegan enchiladas absolutely delicious and so flavorful! Please please check this place out if you?re vegan you won?t be disappointed especially with the enchiladas! Please offer and make more vegan food because you guys are so good at it!

This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes and beautiful presentation. I recommend to everyone! We would like to come back here again and again, specially because the waiter William, in addition to beingfriendly, gave us the best recommendations. We ate dishes that we would not nave ordered without his recommendations. Also itis kids friendly, the kids menu is well varied.
