Locanda La Brenva - COURMAYEUR

The restaurant is located in a hotel. the place is cozy and personal is friendly. the dining room looks great, but when you sit, some chairs are so close that the waiter often touches them when he goes from one table to another. I expected a traditional cuisine from the region. while you get a gourmet wish menú. wannabe because they are presented with sparkling plates, but the taste is nothing special. looks as if the chef observed some of gordon ramsays shows, tried to present the plates on a posh way, but lacked the taste. and the prices they are calculated are much overpriced for the quality, taste and place (as initially said, it is within a hotel so that they do not expect how to be calculated in a hotel). in addition, they pay euro for a bottle filtered water, which is a torn: in the mountains they serve either lead water (which is super good and free) or water (like san pellegrino, which they pay). I really don't understand why there are filtered water. last but not least there are quite expensive weepings that are again not in line with the place (of course in my humble opinion). overall, I would not recommend it. they can eat an authentic real local cuisine somewhere else, much less.

An amazing and incredible experience! finally a place in courmayeur where they can really understand what they pay. very high quality at certain places that really make the differences. you have to try.

Delicious melenzana parmigiana and brunello de albacino wine. great service. this restaurant is connected to la grange and so there is a discount.

Very good eating in general. the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. I'll probably be disappointed that others ever after.

Nice place to eat with friendly staff. Food was tasty and decorated lovely on the plate with good wines.
