Palais Royal - Courbevoie

What a shame! I loved this buffet at will, but after the change of owner, it became very mediocre. Big disappointment.

Since recently, we have found that quality has declined. The kitchen is less fine. Too bad. Let's hope for a return to the best.

If you are wanting some of the best French cuisine, this is the place you need to go to. Just wonderful. Best meal I had in Paris

We would return for a special lunch worth the subway ride to the Palace Royal near the Lourve. The inside seating was delightful and the service was attentive.

All of Paris is expensive, but you can get really good food at less touristy locations. Don't get me wrong the food was delicious here, and the location was supreme but you are paying for the locale. It's a little tricky to find the restaurant; it is small and located on the northeast side of the Palais gardens (not the southwest side, as Google maps may suggest. The restaurant is small, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. The food is expensive, but it's very good. My husband and I got a bottle of wine and a main course each, as well as an after dinner espresso. They bring you bread and an amuse bush before the meal and chocolates with the coffee afterward. So it almost felt like we had a starter and dessert, even though we didn't order any. The wine was great, the entrees delicious, but you can get equally good food for less in less touristy locations.
