The Picnic Basket - County Durham

Passed by chance. Really nice fresh sandwich- no sogginess prepared right in front of us. The toasted Cypriot was lovely. Husband enjoyed the New York. Good coffee too.

Very big selection but a little limited on vegetarian options. The sandwich was pretty nice but maybe not worth the price. When i got there the staff were talking about not getting paid enough and finished their conversation before seeing me even though i was the only person there lol. also a lil hair in the sandwich

We ordered sandwiches for lunch for a group of people preparing for a wedding. The service was fantastic, the sandwiches were very fresh and packed with generous fillings. There was a good variety of fillings to choose from. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
