The service was poor we had to ask for cutlery and napkins and it was impossible to catch a server to ask for extra drinks etc. once we had our meal. The food was the worst part of the experience. The batter on my fish was limp and soggy, the chips were definitely not triple cooked. A friend had a very greasy lamb curry which she had to leave after two forkfuls. Others had a salty and uninspiring steak pie. The prices are high and the quality of food poor. I can't help wondering why they were so busy. We certainly will not be there again.
Visited today for the first time, food was lovely, well worth the money, staff really friendly and professional, views are amazing lovely place, I will definitely be back
We visited The Greenhouse Restaurant today for my daughters baby shower , the afternoon tea was just delightful, the staff were brilliant, so very helpful, with a special shoutout to Rachel who’s attentiveness was second to none , it was a lovely afternoon in beautiful surroundings, I cannot recommend this place enough
The food at this restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly, but the canned music playing was terrible. It was too loud and the staff refused to lower the volume. It's a shame because it ruined the ambiance of an otherwise pleasant dining experience.
The food was very tasty and service friendly and quick. No problem swapping the soup and sandwich for a soup and toastie which was appreciated. The food was good quality and homemade. The soup which was butterbean, white onion and ginger was particularly tasty. Nitpicks- the bread on the fish sandwich was a little thick/heavy and the cheese in the toastie could have been melted a little more. Overall though would definitely return, and was a lovely autumn afternoon out.
