Mad Hatter's Tea Room - County Durham

Im a regular customer of this fabulous tea room. The staff are really friendly. Food is amazing as ive basically had all on menu. No complaints. Fair priced also.

Lovely cosy friendly cafe. Light lunches, buns and coffee. Busy at lunchtime as you’d expect. Great service. Reasonable prices. Lovely coffee

The service was absolutely amazing, me and my partner popped in for some cake and coffee and the chocolate fudge cake looked delicious. We ended up ordering it with pouring cream and it was absolutely delightful. Will definitely be back!!

We decided to go for some food after work and we picked the mad hatters and honestly I’m so glad we did . On arrival the lady that was there was so lovely said we could sit anywhere and she would come and take our order for us . And the food was amazing . Me and my wife will definitely be back

Really nice calm ,cozy space. Drinks were lovely and the food was as nice as it looks in the photo.All I can say is it was was flavoursome and yummy. We got the minced steak and red onion relish , the relish was lovely and the burger was filling with a nice metal bucket of chips to finish it off.Will be back soon to work my way around the menu
