Clems Fish - County Durham

I have visited this restaurant many times in the past, but I will not be returning after my experience on a Friday at 5pm. It seemed like I was served leftover fish from the previous night, with a hard batter, minimal fish, and even cold peas. The meal was very unpleasant.

The fish was small, the batter was hard, and the chips were cold. The peas and curry sauce were also cold. I have dined here before, but I will not be returning. I feel like I wasted £13.

I have visited this restaurant several times and have consistently found the food to be hot, perfectly cooked, and of good quantity and quality. The staff are friendly and willing to help with anything you need. The prices are very reasonable and there is a wide variety of food to choose from. I highly recommend stopping by and giving it a try if you are in the area, you will not be disappointed.

The best fish and chips I have ever had. The owners are very friendly and easy to talk to. We stumbled upon this chip shop on our way to a job and I had a good feeling it would be a great place. In my opinion, chip shops seem to be on the decline, but these young owners run a tight ship with a clean business, delicious food, and excellent customer service. What more could you ask for?

I visited Sarah's Plaice after the Shildon game on my way to catch the train back to Edinburgh. The food was cooked right before my eyes and the quality was exceptional. The warm welcome and the top-notch Irish service were not lacking in any way.
