Pot of tea holds 2 cups.A very friendly and warm atmosphere .
Stumbled across this cafe in Crook when my girlfriend and I had been walking in Witton le Wear had the full breakfast with loose leaf tea. This is a lovely cafe opposite the car park in Crook co Durham the staff are great as is the food you get a real welcome we loved our visit on Saturday 21 Feb 2015
After a rather wet walk with our dog in Bishop Auckland, we baulked at the idea of paying £1 to park there to search for a café were lucky to drive back via Crook and find Café J's. Warm welcoming with a great choice of hot cold sandwiches, jacket potatoes with a choice of fillings, pies, cakes, afternoon cream teas, all home made served with a smile. Free parking too!
We called in to Cafe J's at 3:45 pm for a snack to tide us over till our evening meal the service was excellent and the snack toasted cheese and red onion rellish and side salad were perfect and were made fresh, and and all at a reasonable price, one point to note though the cafe winds down at 4 pm because they close at 5 but they do hot and cold drinks during this time. the 2 staff we very helpful and the cafe was spotlessly clean, well done Girls and thanks.
Have been going for a number of years. Easy going banter between owner customers with good food finished off with latte coffee
