We have been in AZ a few months and about a month ago I googled healthyoptions near me in hopes I may have missed something. This place just opened! What a score. Their fresh almond milk lattesmake for a day right from the Stars. (No, seriously) Sometimes I add an extra espresso shot which never made me jittery fromhere. They use organic coffee beans/ espresso. They use organic syrups (contain sugar but I didn't feel yucky like I do when Idrink lattes from other places so I do recommend if you want some sweetness) As you can imagine, getting organic fruit to thedesert is hard so they do their best with the produce. Often times, they have organic bananas and/or strawberries. Maybe havingorganic frozen fruit for smoothies could solve the smoothie part for those looking for organic options. The waffles areDivine. Avacado toast and muffins are also pretty yum. And my son loves the kitties on the register. Tabby and Tatiana wereabsolute angels and it was an absolute honor to acquaint them in our travels. This place is everything it is in a month (or 2)because of their light. Tell them hello from Elysi if you find yourself here. All my love and blessings for all who read andventure in. May you feel the love in every sip and in every bite. ??????
Best health food spot in Verde Valley. This is based off of quality and choices of ingredients, service, and prices. Can not wait until they open up again!
I am so happy that I found this organic cafe! The staff are so sweet and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The menu variety is really good! I love the avocado toast!
Updated my review from 5 stars to 4 stars. Still a great place, I just miss the old location and the choices they had at that one. This one is not as vegan friendly now and they added a lot more dairy to the menu unfortunately. They also took away thebuild your own salads it looks like and a few wraps I loved. Also no more drive through. It is surprising to me they moved to aFood City shopping center and right next to a vape/smoke shop! Seems like the wrong 'target market ' to me! (However, I noticedthey are staying busy and getting customers which is good. : I did see they added a few more breakfast things that look good. They also added a few smoothies I tried and liked. I just hope they will consistently have the muffins and protein cookies likethe old location. Be nice to see a vegan grilled cheese (since they added a dairy one . I will continue to drop in to eat herewhen I am in Cottonwood.
The smoothies and acai bowls are great! The customer service was also top-notch; they were happy to answer our questions about ingredients and smoothie add-ins. The scoops of protein were decently large (some places skimp and only give you a tiny bit, but we didn't have that issue here). The smoothies were really flavorful and reasonably priced. We've tried a total of 5, and all were really good. The acai bowl that I had was also really good. My partner did wish that there was some seasoning on his protein/bean bowl, but it was adequate with some added salt. And the muffin we had (chocolate coconut) was very tasty! The only downsides (and I don't feel like they were big enough to remove a star) were that I didn't get to try the waffle (they were out of ingredients the first time we came; I'd already eaten breakfast the second time we came; and their waffle machine was broken the third time we came), but the smoothies were so good that it made up for it. And, there's only one table outside, so we didn't actually get to eat there at all (as we have a strong preference for outside seating, and the table was taken all three times we went while on vacation), but they don't have a big space in front of their shop, so I understand that they don't have much room to work with.
