Av8 Bistro - Cotswold

The restaurant is in a fantastic location. Despite being packed, the staff greeted us warmly. We had a delicious burger and good coffee outside, with a great view of the busy airfield. The BA 747 was a spectacular backdrop. Thanks for the friendly welcome.

We stopped by for breakfast on our way to Cornwall and were disappointed to find that only sausage or bacon baps were available. This was due to staff shortages, so they weren't serving full breakfasts. Despite this, the coffee was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We plan to come back another day and spend some time watching the flying activity from the airfield.

Perfect for a family day out or a professional meeting, this restaurant has a setting that will delight aviation enthusiasts. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the delicious food is well worth the price.

What a fabulous little restaurant! A very, very pleasant surprise. I met up with an old chum of mine for lunch recently (loved the BA 744 parked outside, both of us being retired BA staff and avi anoraks! , and had a thoroughly lovely time. The place is an aviation fans delight with (as mentioned, the BA 747-400 outside a plethora of highly interesting and historically important artefacts, smashing! You don't have to be an aviation fan to find and visit the AV8 restaurant, simply be an advocate of quality well priced hospitality. The food was spot on; great quality, plentiful and superbly derived. Attentive and engaging staff and all in wonderful surroundings. A brilliant find and highly recommended. Thank you all for making a couple of old farts very happy indeed!

An excellent friendly venue with good food, excellent service and caring staff. Plenty of parking, excellent interior and theme. Dog friendly great for lunch. looking forward to trying the breakfast
