Wild Goose Tavern - Costa Mesa

Active sports bar with outdoor seating. Several vegan items on the menu including vegan burgers, vegan pizzas and buffalo flowers-cauliflower wrap.

I was surprised by how delicious the food was at this restaurant. I usually only go for drinks at the bar, but the food is definitely worth trying too. I wouldn't recommend the cocktails though, stick to beer or wine instead.

The parking situation is difficult. The restaurant's lot is small, so I had to park at the nearby Jack In The Box and walk for 5 minutes. It would have been better if they had built the restaurant on a larger lot, considering the need for ample parking for restaurants.

I went to this restaurant looking for a drink and left with friends, memories, and 6 servings of fried cheese stirred grits. Goose is where you go to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. It's a great place to have a conversation and maybe even share some personal stories.
