West Coast Fish - Costa Mesa

I really love this restaurant! The way they prepare the broccoli and green beans is fantastic! It’s tough to decide which side to choose with my fish because they’re all so good! They also have generous portions of sauces! Plus, the staff is very friendly.

I would have given this restaurant a full 5 stars, but my last visit for lunch with a friend left me a bit disappointed. I usually order the salmon and rice bowl, which is quite substantial. Most items on the menu are on the pricier side, ranging from $10 to $18. On this occasion, the salmon we received wasn't what we expected, so my friend and I asked for them to be fixed. We were unsure if we would get completely new salmon bowls, but we decided to go ahead, as it was our lunch hour and the food is typically delicious. I would recommend ensuring that the fish is fully cooked, just to be safe. Despite the hiccup, I would return because their fish is fresh and flavorful. If you enjoy side dishes, they are decent, although they don't have a traditional kimchi taste.

The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. I really enjoyed the beet hummus, which was a nice healthy alternative to the fries I had originally planned to order. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the ingredients justifies the cost.

The food here is absolutely incredible!!! Great prices, super friendly staff and amazing surroundings. This place is my new favorite!!!
