Beautiful place. the staff was generous. they did good work. but the food was bland and very American. no authentic Mexican taste. almost seems a healthier choice of Mexican food. beautiful place.

My experience in playa mesa was so much fun! we loved everything we ordered, and our server josele was the best! he was honest what our experience in playa mesa has done as well as it was! we ordered the birria tacos and carne asada steak tacos and both were delicious! on Monday they said that margaritas are $8 and are made with fresh fruit. we will definitely come back!

Eating was good and the ambiente was fun and relaxing at the same time. my family brought me here for birthday brunch and everything was great. it was a pretty busy place that just told me it was popular. but the service was good, although the server was pretty busy.

Nice spot in costa mesa. It was full on Sunday so arrive early or have a reservation. The bar does not require a reservation (which is were we sat). Valet parking only 4). I love the mimosa package which included a bottle of champagne and 3 different juices for $24. It was well worth it. I had the Benedict dish and my husband had the chilaquiles. I would pass on the chilaquiles I was just not a fan of the sauce. The Benedict dish was really good ?. The pinneaple mimosa was my favorite
