Darbari Persian Grill - Costa Mesa

I visited this restaurant with my friend, who is Persian, and it was my first experience with Persian cuisine. I have to say, my taste buds were in for a treat! The variety of flavors was incredible, and I was surprised at how well all the different aromas blended together. I was truly impressed. My friend confirmed that everything was authentic and well-prepared. I can now say that Persian food has made it onto my list of favorite cuisines. You won't be disappointed!

We had timid with three stews, Kashk Bademjaan and Borani. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly.

We visited for lunch and were delightfully surprised. The restaurant is somewhat small, but it's clean and has a cozy atmosphere. The service was attentive, and the food was hot and fresh. The portion sizes are reasonable, though a bit pricey for a lunch menu. I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

There are some good Persian restaurants in OC, but Darbari is undoubtedly the best. I've been ordering this restaurant for a while. I give them five stars for their food quality, taste and super friendly staff. You're never disappointed.

The beef koobideh is lip smackingly good, fluffy rice and a well grilled tomato, no onion like other places I've been to but not a big deal, and a little bit more of the pita would be cool but all said and done great experience.
