Casablanca The - Costa Mesa

I'm honestly surprised that this place isn't packed every night. The décor is stunning, with a lovely Moroccan theme. The staff were incredibly friendly and made great recommendations for dishes to try. I visited with my wife and baby, and they were very accommodating, providing us with a booth that ensured our stroller wasn't in the way. The owner even helped me lift the stroller to our booth. When we arrived, there was a live dancer performing, but unfortunately, the show ended by the time we were seated. I’ll definitely check the showtimes online before our next visit. The food here is absolutely AMAZING; you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I recommend trying the Rack of Lamb. And be sure not to miss the Coconut Crème Brûlée for dessert—it's a must!

I had a fantastic experience! The food here is outstanding, and the owner is incredibly kind and knowledgeable, assisting each of us in selecting a dish while sharing its regional background and history. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, creating an immersive atmosphere that we truly enjoyed! Thank you for a wonderful time, and we will definitely return if we find ourselves in LA again. I highly recommend it!

The food was excellent, especially the lamb, which was outstanding. The entertainment was fantastic and really encouraged everyone to join in! It was quite hot, so I suggest wearing shorts. Haha!

We stopped at Casablanca last night for a late dinner--and were very pleased to return to one of our favorite restaurants. The staff was gracious in accommodating us--when we popped in very close to closing time. The food, the service, and the ambiancewere all excellent. Highly recommended--particularly for those who have discovered the delights of Moroccan food!

Why isn?t this place packed with people? Another hidden gem. The building on the outside isn?t very appealing, but inside is a whole new wonderful world! Great atmosphere and great food. We had the honey lamb and rack of lamb followed by baklava. Alldelicious and the staff was great!
