Cafe Rose Express - Costa Mesa

I wanted to correct my review!!! This place is fantastic!!! I return there almost daily!!! It?s tough to find a place where you?re made to feel as comfortable as going home this review is unsolicited and it?s completely sincere. I didn?t take a free lunch or was compensated in any way. A fantastic place!!! 90 percent of the time my visits to this establishment are excellent, which is why I don?t mind spending the money. But today was probably my last visit for a long time. I had the weekly chef?s special which was braised short ribs, Parmesan broccoli and mashed potatoes. I also added a danish to treat myself to a little treat. But the short rib was dry and tough to eat. Which was extremely unusual considering every other time I have visited the meat was always so tender. The service is always very friendly no exception today it was as friendly as it usually is, but the food was not up to the usual standards.

The food was excellent. Great choice for lunch with colleagues. The salads are really good with good choice of ingredients not only salad. The amount of food is very good. The average you spend is about $15 per meal. Good atmosphere and good outdoor furnishings. Nice little garden next to the restaurant. Total good experience!

Had a debut dinner with a friend on Thursday. Café Rose Express is always great to enjoy a good sandwich outside the rooftops. The chicken salad Croissant sandwich with fruit on the side was perfect for relaxing lunch enjoying the breeze.

Very nice selection of healthy meals. The price is relatively fair and I really like their select 2 option. This place has spacious indoor and outdoor seating. The only slight thing that bothers me is that they don 't have a variety of soup to choose from. It can be a hit or a miss with their soup of the day.

I ordered a salmon salad and a mushroom soup, and both were delicious. The staff was also very nice. You can eat outside and there are many tables with magnificent views of the gardens. This place is beautiful and highly recommended!
