Basil Mediterranean Grill - Costa Mesa

This is one of the top Mediterranean and Persian restaurants in the area. The food quality is excellent, and, most importantly, it is absolutely delicious! We particularly love the hummus and tabouli. Without a doubt, it's the best of its kind around, offering fair prices, great customer service, and fantastic food! I highly recommend it. Food: 5/5

All the food I ordered was exceptional. The falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Their spicy hummus packs quite a punch—I'd rate it an 8 out of 10 for heat—but it's absolutely delicious. The pita bread was warm and soft, which made it delightful! The tabbouleh also impressed me; it was fresh and well-prepared. There's a small bar offering a nice selection of white and red wines, including Prosecco. The restaurant is located in a small business center with limited parking, but there are plenty of cozy booths and tables inside. I’m looking forward to returning for more of that fantastic food.

I enjoyed the Mediterranean shrimp and steak kebabs, both of which were delightful. Although the service was a bit slow, it wasn't too bad overall. Rating for service: 4/5.

Was my first time there, order the lamb chop plate. The chops were very good, for me the rice needs more flavor. I don't care for vinager so the dressing wasn't for me. The waiter was very nice and proffesional. The atmosphere was very nice.Food: 3/5
