O Golfinho Restaurante Bar

My wife and I had a 3 nights in a beach hut, about 100 meters from this beach bar. on the first day we arrived, we were exhausted from the trip, so we wanted to stay close to our airbnb and we had a late lunch...here our waiter pedro seemed very nice and recommended the grilled sea bass and sea roasts, each of which were good dishes. he also recommended some local weeping and we enjoyed our experience. in our second night we had planned to find a new place for a nice dinner, but we felt like staying close to the beach hut and therefore decided to have dinner in o golfinho to keep it close and share our business with this beach bar on the basis of our first experience. we arrived at 8:30 a.m. and the grill cook began to close the load. I asked the men at the bar if they were still served in the full menu and he encouraged us to sit and enjoy. I could see that the grill cook was not satisfied at our arrival. in which he has overlooked us with dissatisfaction and made me feel unwilling. the chief lady greeted us and I felt like she encouraged us to order something else than eat from the grill. we went with their starter recommendations. the egg shell was disgusting and the fried tintenfisch was ok. pedro took us when we decided what we wanted to eat in the evening. I was excited to try another grilled fish dish. pedro recommended the heavy fish. the grill cook again played with dissatisfaction with us. when the fish came out, I saw a slender black flow out and not an expected steak of heavy fish. I often had heavy fish and it is in the regular a nice firm steak. we gave us a bit around the inconspicuous black skinned fin and called pedro to inquire about the cut of hardfish. he had no concrete answer and told us that it was from the bunt of the heavy fish. he said if you don't like it, I can take it back. we agreed quickly and he left. we have left in this night very dissatisfied and disgusting with eating and the entire service and the hospitality. I wish my experience had been consistent. we got a hustle and bustle heavy and felt like we were imposing on closing time.

Fish directly from the sea to the grill and then to their dish, fresh salads, delicious deserts and friendly people. very recommended! many thanks to carla and hope to be back soon.

Sent by 4 o'clock. they said we could eat, so we sat. in that they had nothing but anointing and burgers. service was verx friendly, but eating dessapointing! Maybe he is not for fish there!

We came in with low expectations convenient snacks private beach chairs umbrella situation, so definitely not a fussy visit looking for this place to be anything other than a source of beach rentals and beers. Staff was kindof cranky (maybe business was...off that day and throngs of schoolchildren paraded through for about an hour at lunch time making it impossible to even use the restroom. After waiting an hour for that to stop over beers, we finally gave up and made our way down to the bar's private beach area and found it filthy. Broken glass, cigarette butts ... or was actually much dirtier than the surrounding public beach which is pretty nice. All in, we cut out €25 losses and bailed for another spot. There are nicer places just down the beach worth it to walk a little further!

There is no place than o golfinho to eat grilled fish. The owners takes his fish serious! He chooses local fish that he grills himself for his guests. His wife and daughter serve at the table. Love the place, give them a try !
