Buffalo Grill - Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire

Came to lunch, randomly chose this place because we were here for work. friendly waitress, fast service and beautiful atmosphere in this American restaurant. English is very minimal, but we had very good helpful waitress. had bbq burger with medium well meat. was meat. tender and juicy, perfect! had vanilla cookies for dessert, taste good and not too sweet!

These places tend to be overlooked. they are amazingly popular with the local franzos; the decor and ambiente is kitsch wild west, but once they pass that eating is good. I ordered the cote de boeuf classique, 400 gramm opaque, perfectly medium-sized rare. bark meat served with chips and bear sauce. they also do a cote de boeuf xxl, which is 600 grams and enough for two! we also had fish and chips, as well as everyone in Britain and cajun huh, who would have satisfied each of louisiana. the menu is a luxuriantly illustrated shiny art of affair, but has a lot to offer on the wild west steakhouse art of thema. our waiter was polite and attentive, but not excessively so, and the place was quickly filled with franzosen for a good time. my steak was one of the best I had everywhere; no cheap gristly tender. the beer was cold and one could not find a single thing to complain; no wonder they are so popular!

We were a group of 16 who arrived in dribs and drabs and were accommodated without problems. the service was respectable and the food and weep while not cheap were delicious. the menu has pictures if you French is not at the top....you offered to us in two groups or all together, but we wanted. very helpful! and we got a 10% discount because we were at the ibis next door (prove).

We chose the formula menu for the price of 14.90 euros, where you could either have a starter and a main plate, or a main plate with a dessert, accompanied with either a glass of wine or a beer each. We both had rump steak...which was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and very quickly served indeed. I then had ' 'rocky road cake ' ' which was like a rich chocolate cake with a caramel sauce, and my wife had ice cream. Very good indeed!

De retour de voyage en Asie, nous avons fait une halte pour manger un bon steak -frites!!! Cela nous manquait... et nous nous sommes régalés. Service rapide et avec le sourire. C'est une halte que nous recommandons.
