Ume Japanese Cuisine - Cosenza

Japanese restaurant here at the hotel. the food is good. we got the rice bowls (oyakuju and tentama don) and dessert (chocolate royale). We were surprised that we got free appetizer which is the beef with potato and carrot. The oyakuji is chewy and sweet, but the tentama don is just okay. The chocolate royale is so good. It can be good for sharing (if you just want to try it out), very chocolatey. It has a chewy base so this part makes the difference among other chocolate cakes. P.S. there is a no tipping policy which is great

The best sushi place ever! I’ve probably been here at least 6 times in one month because it’s so delicious. I come here so many times that the workers know me already. Their dragon roll makes my mouth water just thinking about it. Although, i wish they put more slices of sashimi in one order because 6 is not enough. I did try their other rolls also it was good but the dragon roll was by far my favorite. The matcha ice cream is so bomb and i’m not a person who really likes matcha but you can taste that it was real matcha not just a powder. I’m definitely going back soon lol.

JR, Lawrence and Xyza were very accomodating. The plating is absolutely superb. The ingredients are the most fresh you will ever see in Cebu. The Japanese chef is very very strict about using only the freshest ingredients.

Feels like I’m in Japan but really I’m in Cebu! Love the interiors, accomodating staff, friendly chef, and of course the very delicious and “authentic” Japanese cuisine. So much variety of food, it was so hard to choose! Definetely coming back again.

Trully exceptional japanese cuisine at its finest. Simple sushi and sashimi with exquisite ingredients flown in from japan. Great staff and very friendly chef!
