Magenta Restaurant & Catering

Today was our first visit to Magenta. They offer extensive outdoor seating but we chose the coolness of inside. It's a nice vibe indoors with wood paneling, mirrors, decorative drapes, and interesting art. The background music was a smooth piano jazz withelements of bossa nova. The food was delicious. I had the Mi Ga and my boo had Pad Thai. The flavors were layered and delicate.We will be back!

Magenta is easily Corvallis’s Best Restaurant. Magenta in Corvallis Oregon is so clean, has delicious artisan eats, private restrooms, free parking, indoor and outdoor dining, and has super friendly team members and management. I love the vegan tofufried rice with a side of plum sauce.

Asian inspired menu. A variety of main dishes, with a broad choice of protein. Spring rolls were very good, and we enjoyed it with bacon added. Peanut sauce is very flavorful. Cocktails arrived just exactly as stated on the menu and we enjoyed them verymuch.

Food was okay. Nothing over the top. What turned me away, when I asked what made the Laotian taco’s Laotian? The waitress said the spices we use. I said great what are the spices? She repeated her self again I looked her dead in her eyes and told her Weare Laotian! What do you use she stepped back and said ginger and dim sum seasonings needless to say that’s not Laotian. Thefood was defiantly whitened down meaning made for peoples pallets that really ain’t with the culture) the pork dumpling soupwas simply phó broth. For the price of the food I wasn’t impressed. Lacking some bold flavors. I mean if you really down withAsian food you know what I’m talking about….

Great selection of delicious dishes. it is worth trying all the plates.
